Artist's Comments

As promised, more texture work. This render is to test out the new symbol for the Dan leg of the Dan-Judah forces. The symbol is a Star of David, with an abstract snake in the middle (the tribe of Dan is usually depicted with a snake as its symbol).

It still needs some work. Especially, I have to resize the symbol a little. It took a while for me to get the rotation on it right. The rest of the textures are all the same, and from DOGA, with the exception of the guns, which remain untextured. The background is also from DOGA.

Oho! That's pretty sweet. :D

Really nice choice on the body texture, and the symbol fits in great as well. My only comment is that the pilot's canopy is still a flat colour: If you were to either make it translucent or more reflective it would make your model downright awesome!

Unfortunetly, at this time, I can't figure out how to do anything with the canopy color in DOGA. One of my DA friends does seem to be able to do it, so I am going to ask him.

Coolness. I just started doing 3D in my Principles of 3D Modeling class. It's so fun I could just play all day. I like this, My only suggestion for an artistic render would be to ad more detail. But, more detail = more polygons = more RAM, so I think it looks good and the textures are nice. More detail would add to the beauty.

Nice work. You should try to get your hands on 3D Studio Max. I'm currently learning that myself... amazing program.
